Once In A Lifetime expedition across Finnmarksvidda

One of our colleagues, Terry Dixon, will be taking part in a once-in-a-lifetime expedition across the Finnmarksvidda Plateau in Norway, the largest mountain plateau in the country. The expedition aims to complete a full winter crossing of this challenging environment and will mark the first attempt by an adaptive team that includes two double amputees.

The challenge is being undertaken in partnership with the Armed Forces Para Snowsport Team, an organisation that has played a vital role in the recovery and rehabilitation of injured service personnel. This expedition represents an opportunity for participants to give back by raising funds that will help support others on their own recovery journeys.

Crossing the plateau in winter will test endurance, resilience and teamwork in one of the most demanding environments in Europe.
