Karel Breedt is a financial services professional with more than a decade of experience in the investment industry, having begun his career in 2014. Throughout his career, Karel has built extensive expertise in sales, distribution, and client relationship management, working across wealth management, investments, and structured solutions with some of South Africa’s leading financial institutions.

Prior to joining IDAD, Karel held various distribution and business development roles at Glacier, ABSA, Investhouse International, and PSG Wealth. These positions provided him with broad exposure to financial advisers, wealth managers, and institutional stakeholders, allowing him to develop a strong understanding of client needs and investment solutions across diverse market segments.

Karel is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) professional, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of technical knowledge, professionalism, and client-centric advice. He is passionate about building meaningful relationships, delivering value-driven solutions, and helping clients navigate an evolving investment landscape.
